To achieve the highest level economic empowerment, WASH, health, livelihoods and food security, conflict resolution and peace building to the poorest communities through stimulating transformational development, gender empowerment and mitigating threats for present and future generation.

- 0.1 Gender: We are committed to addressing the inequalities and harmful norms that put both men and women at risk of disease, poor health and violence.
- 0.2 Ensure strategic collaboration and coordination:Programs will ensure strong collaboration between us and the counties where we work, the target populations, the local community and community organizations, to ensure a synergistic approach. We will also collaborate and cooperate with the GOK and with our donors as they coordinate on a national level.

In the counties we will focus on developing, supporting, and sustaining the stakeholder capabilities that exist, especially in regard to community based organizations, target populations and groups.

We are humanitarian, non-partisan, non-racial, non-sectarian, and non-profit making organization founded on the spirit of charity. Our core purpose of playing a pivotal role in transforming lives and communities through projects and programs is to uplifting the general status of our societies for the betterment of the future generation.
We also undertakes community and institutional training and capacity building on best oral health practices in community empowerment through awareness program and local resources mobilization; integrated project design and planning; implementation; good governance and resource management practices; monitoring and evaluation; transparency and accountability for sustainable development projects and programs impacts.
We look for projects and connect volunteers with short-term and long-term assignments on projects that aim to strengthen sustainable, community-based partnerships. We are grateful that our work has been made possible through resources mobilized from various donors and agencies including the U.S. Government, the Global Fund, the Canadian government, The Coca-Cola Africa Foundation, Swedish International Development Agency, Shell Oil Products Africa, the Walmart Foundation, trusts, other charities, and individual donors.
We are also working in close collaboration with other stakeholders that include the government of Kenya, development partners, other NGOs, community based organizations, faith-based organizations, corporations, trusts and selected learning institutions.

Our Identity
Alliance for African Relief is a national based organization with the core purpose of playing a pivotal role in transforming lives and communities through projects and programs that are aimed at uplifting their health and living condition.
Our History
Alliance for African Relief started informally as a small group within Korogocho slums in 2011 with a project known as Okoa Maisha with the goal of assisting those suffering from various diseases. We also help in addressing the issue of Environmental Health that was threatened by the nearby dumping site which is the biggest in eastern and central Africa through local radio station and NEEMA authorities.
Our governance
Alliance for African Relief is governed by its constitution which lays out the framework of its election for its members that are done once after every three years.

Alliance for African Relief is supported and funded by both national and international partners as well as the good Samaritans who are touched by our noble contribution in the society and the nation at large.
Our spending
Alliance for African Relief is committed in spending 90% of its budget to its specific projects so as to achieve the intended goals and objectives on time. The remaining 10% is used in administrative duties and governance as well as office overheads.
Our locations
Alliance for African Relief is currently working tirelessly to bring sustainable change and development within 4 biggest slums of Nairobi-Kenya, namely: Korogocho, Mathare, Kibera and Mukuru(kwa njenga, kayaba, kwa reauben and Sinai).
