Slums dwellers and those from arid rural home are still backwards in the utilization of affordable and clean energy as enshrines in SDG goal number 7. There many people living without electricity and most are still utilizing charcoal and wood as a form of energy to prepare their daily dishes. These forms of energy not only pose danger to their health but also the climatic change around the world.
Investing in solar, wind and thermal power, improving energy productivity, and ensuring energy for all is vital if we are to achieve SDG 7 by 2030.Expanding infrastructure and upgrading technology to provide clean and more efficient energy in all countries will encourage growth and help the environment.
Our organization with other likeminded partners is seeking to provide affordable and clean energy such as the solar lamps and solar panels. We seek to extend our support to children suffering from candle study in the slums and arid-rural areas by providing them with solar lamps and solar panels through benefiting 5,000,000 families in both slums and arid-rural areas.
