WOMEN EMPOWERMENT AND GENDER EQUALITY
Ending all discrimination against women and girls is not only a basic human right, it’s crucial for sustainable future; it’s proven that empowering women and girls helps economic growth and development.
Gender equality has not yet been achieved within slums and arid-rural areas due to: bad mentality, educational level, religion, empowerment level, traditional and cultures. In some places, there many boy than girls at school and the same at labour market where the ration of men to women is incomparable. Sexual violence and exploitation, the unequal division of unpaid care and domestic work, and discrimination in public office all remain huge barriers
Our organization is working towards giving women equal rights and opportunities with men in education, leadership, industry (labour market), inheritance, empowerment, advancement in ICT and science among other sectors of the economy. We are working closely with women leaders and women lead groups in Kenya in protecting and promoting the right of women around this nation.
AREAS OF TARGETS:
- End all forms of discrimination against all women and girls everywhere
- Eliminate all forms of violence against all women and girls in the public and private spheres within Kenya
